Britney Spears, Mental Health and Rocket Science

Some people can take fame and fortune, others can't, it seems. Mickey Rooney just loves life and in his eighties has been playing Baron Hardup in pantomime in Sunderland. He's having fun. Most of us have our ups and downs. Britney Spears on the other hand isn't having much fun. She got carted off to hospital, against her will by all accounts, and was effectively dismissed as an unfit mother.

Now all sorts of people, including psychiatrists, are offering an opinion. I won't be offering one as I do not know anything about her health. However, that didn't stop Dr. Robi Ludwig, a New York psychologist, saying "Britney is having a whole host of problems that no one can diagnose for sure. Clearly, though, she is troubled." Long distance diagnosing, or just plain nosing. Some very close diagnosing was done by Dr.Phil, who made an improptu visit from Britney's viewpoint, but had "the family's" blessing.

Could it be a case of self-fulfilling prophecies? Talk about her and she will need treatment, thereby proving a case! And the rocket science? For some this may be water off a duck's back, but for others it will be a matter of the straw breaking the camel's back. That's what I'd say is definitely not rock science.
