So it now seems more than likely that Gordon Brown WILL have a heavyweight contest for the leadership of the Labour Party. No sooner than Blair had left the conference centre than his minions and Blairite cronies were plotting in the bars. So they are going to put up a cabinet minister against Gordon. So much for all the charm, or charisma as Albert Speer recommended every public figure should have!
