Typical that the Daily Mirror (that rag that the prig Piers Morgan used to edit) comes out with a diatribe. It quotes the surly Armed Forces Minister Adam Ingram as saying Patrick Mercer's comments were "shocking and completely unacceptable".
Mr Ingram said, "Racist abuse can have no place in any walk of life, and it is appalling for any politician, never mind a senior Tory MP like Patrick Mercer, to suggest that this is just the way it is in the Army. It is an insult to the brave men and women who serve in our armed forces with great distinction." Ingram then thinks it's OK to cover up idleness with the racist tag.
Don't forget folks, New Labour wants to stop foreigners stealing our benefits. Mr. Ingram, why don't you look in the mirror at your own party's racist overtones. Dr. John Reid, a part-time politician like yourself says "foreigners come to this country illegitimately and steal our benefits"!
Nice touch, Mr.Ingram. Come the General Election, we'll know where the real racists are!
