Burma on the move

Burma may yet be on the move to democracy. Or it may be subjected to weeks of bloodshed. It tells us all that, even in the 21st Century, there are leaders who are prepared to continue with evil regimes. Thankfully now there is worldwide knowledge of the decidedly nasty little empire being run by these fat generals. They may be well educated, speak good English (as General Cordingly remarked after visiting them) but they are definitely not suited to the wants and desires of democratic peoples.

It may end like Caeucescu and his wife, with bullets in the back of their heads, but I hope the Buddhist monks will allow, on eventual victory, for these bullyboys to be handed over to the International Court in the Hague.

We've seen quite a few tyrannies go in the last few years. The Burmese generals are living on borrowed time.
