Ron Paul took the lead in the GOP debate last night. The one who came off worst was John McCain, who was made to look a bit silly after saying that he would keep the troops in Iraq for a 100 years. Ron Paul faced reality by saying the US was already in recession. The other candidates were less sure.
Fox News, up to their undemocratic tricks, tried to get a "focus" group to rubbish Ron Paul's message. Sean Hannity is coming across as a puppet for those in denial. The audience, though, gave Ron Paul excellent backing!
I'd say that people would want to know how a president would deal with a recession, handle the econony, and face up to the realities in the world. They certainly don't want an ostrich looking for a sand salesman!!
