Expect an election in 18 months, says Ed Balls

Ed Balls is now a soothsayer! If this month is January 2008, then 18 months will be June/July 2009, which will be about a year from when a General Election would have to be.

This prediction is not mindblowing, but the idea that it is certainly is. Typical New Labour, or are we just Labour now?
